Peach Crumble

Are you looking for an easy dessert to whip up with the kids? This dessert is simple and stress-free - the use of canned peaches means that they're ready to go when you are, there's no need to peel and chop.

Method

1Heat the oven to 180c.

2In an ovenproof dish tip in the canned peaches and cover the bottom of the dish with the peaches.

3Next, into a mixing bowl add in all the other ingredients and start to rub together with your fingertips, until all the butter is combined – it should be crumbly and buttery coloured.

4Sprinkle this over the peaches until you've used all the crumble mix.

5Cook in the oven until golden and bubbling for 30 minutes.

6Serve with hot custard or fresh cream

2 x 411g canned peaches, sliced and drained

50g brown sugar

200g plain flour

50g rolled oats

1 tsp ground cinnamon

50 g butter, softened
